MNC Animation Series Achieves Further Success at Asian Animation and Television Awards

Jakarta, October 2, 2026 — The animated series *Entong* has once again achieved success on the Asian stage by winning the "National Winner 2026" title in the "Best Animation" category at the Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA) 2026 on September 30, 2026. Additionally, on the same day, *Entong* was nominated in the "Best 3D Animated Programme" category at the Asian Television Awards (ATA) 2026.

This achievement follows in the footsteps of the animated series *Titus The Detective*, which previously won an award in the same category at the AACA 2025 and was nominated for "Best 3D Animated Programme" at the ATA 2025.

MNC Animation CEO Jessica Tanoesoedibjo expressed her pride in the achievements attained by *Entong* at both award events.

"We are proud that MNC Animation has won a prestigious award at the AACA 2026 and secured a nomination at the ATA 2026. This demonstrates that MNC Animation’s aspiration and vision—to consistently provide high-quality animated content for everyone to enjoy—have been realized. We will use this achievement as a benchmark to continue creating quality animated content in the future," stated Jessica Tanoesoedibjo.

Echoing Jessica’s sentiments, MNC Animation CCPO Warren Tanoesoedibjo also commended *Entong*'s achievement within the Asian animation and television industry. “Winning the National Winner title at the AACA and receiving a nomination at the ATA for two consecutive years is certainly an extraordinary achievement for MNC Animation. Moving forward, we will continue to strive to enhance the quality of MNC Animation’s animated series and establish our products as benchmarks for animation in both Indonesia and Asia,” said Warren Taoesoedibjo.

About *Entong*
*Entong* is an Indonesian 3D animated series produced by MNC Animation, serving as a modern adaptation of the legendary comedy series *Si Entong*.

Set in a Betawi village, the series follows the daily life of Entong, a pious, intelligent, and kind-hearted boy. Alongside his witty friends and neighbors, Entong navigates various everyday challenges—ranging from trivial matters like stolen shoes and boat races to modern issues such as internet trends, social media, and the obsession with going viral.

Although frequently pestered by his rival, Memed—whose malicious schemes often backfire on him—Entong always resolves problems with honesty, courage, and a cool head. Each episode is crafted with humor and a strong moral message, emphasizing the importance of sincere intentions, hard work, and maintaining community harmony.
