MNC Animation’s Animated Series Achieves Another Milestone at the Asian Animation and Television Awards

Jakarta, October 2, 2026 — The animated series Entong has once again achieved success on the Asian stage by winning the “National Winner 2026” title at the 2026 Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA) in the “Best Animation” category on September 30, 2026. Additionally, on the same day, Entong was also nominated in the “Best 3D Animated Program” category at the 2026 Asian Television Awards (ATA).

This achievement continues the success of the animated series *Titus The Detective*, which previously won an award in the same category at the 2025 AACA and was nominated in the “Best 3D Animated Program” category at the 2025 ATA.

MNC Animation CEO Jessica Tanoesoedibjo expressed her pride in Entong’s achievements at both award ceremonies.

“We are proud that MNC Animation has won a prestigious award at the 2026 AACA and received a nomination at the 2026 ATA. This demonstrates that MNC Animation’s aspiration and vision to consistently provide high-quality animated programming for everyone to enjoy have been realized. “We will use these achievements as a benchmark for MNC Animation to continue creating high-quality animated content in the future,” said Jessica Tanoesoedibjo.

About Entong
Entong is an Indonesian 3D animated series produced by MNC Animation, which is a modern adaptation of the legendary comedy soap opera *Si Entong*.

Set in a Betawi village, the series follows the daily life of Entong, a pious, intelligent, and kind-hearted boy. Together with his funny friends and neighbors, Entong faces various challenges of everyday life—ranging from trivial issues like stolen shoes and boat races to modern concerns such as internet trends, social media, and the obsession with going viral.

Although he is often tormented by his rival, Memed—who is always hatching evil schemes that ultimately backfire on him—Entong always resolves every problem with honesty, courage, and a cool head. Each episode is packed with humor and a strong moral message, emphasizing the importance of sincere intentions, hard work, and maintaining harmony among neighbors.
